Assuming you mean .5 ct total weight (each earring is 1/ 4 carat) with a gold setting, anywhere from $600 on up, depending on the quality of the diamonds. Greater quality or platinum setting = greater price. 1 ct tw (each is 1/ 2) starting at $2,200. Generally speaking, earring quality is accepted as being "poorer " than what one would want for a solitaire ring.
